  • CTE Spotlight – Let us show you off!

Teachers, tell us what you're doing in your classrooms to get your students interested in STEM-related careers. Send us a description, pictures or video OR we would be happy to visit your classroom and document the event so we can share these best practices with others.
  • Take a Video Tour of STEM Education Facilities

STEM-related courses typically take place in a non-traditional classroom (a materials/tools/equipment environment or lab setting). A cornerstone of a successful STEM education program of study is the design of the facilities. Safety is a paramount concern when working with students in this type of setting. Selecting the appropriate equipment and resources, and planning the design and management of the facility directly impacts the learning that takes place there.

Take a tour of three different kinds of STEM education environments:

    Introduction

    Design Lab

Chris Anderson, Gateway Regional School District

    Fabrication Lab

    Nick Beykirch, Bernards School District

    Combination Lab

Dave Niemierowski, Freehold Regional School District
